Delivery Note
Delivered frozen. Please ensure someone is at home during the delivery time. Frozen and chilled goods are non-returnable due to food safety regulations.
Care, Handling & Storage
To store, keep frozen (-18°C). To feed, thaw trays in the chiller overnight. As these meals are fully cooked, no further cooking is required. Opened trays can can be kept an airtight container in the chiller for up to 48 hours. Do not refreeze.
Soak trays in warm water for optional reheating, but do not re-cook or microwave.
Feeding Guide & Transition
Our portion recommendations are based on the formulation of our diets, however, you may find that adjustments to the portion may be made along the way based on your dog's breed, age, metabolism, size and activity level. Puppies 5-12 months old or until fully grown should ideally be fed between 6-8% of their current weight.
How to transition my dog to your meals for the first time?
When switching to a new brand of food or a different diet, the meal should always be introduced slowly. Start by mixing 1/5 (for if your dog is more prone to tummy issues) or 1/3 (for they can tolerate most new meals) of The Grateful Pet into their existing food and gradually increasing the portion of their new meals and reducing their previous diet over 3 to 7 days.
